Evening Talk by Mark Khan on the Liberator Exhibition

Mark Khan will tell the story relating to the crew of the aircraft, the events that resulted in the aircraft crashing on 22 June 1944, the subsequent project to recover the aircraft, and the search for the remains of the two missing in action crew members. How the project came about,  the work carried out prior to the main excavations in 2019 and 2022 as well as details and results of the excavations.

Doors open at 7pm for bar and the talk starts 7.30pm
