Dogs: with Artist Josse Davis hear stories and draw lots of dogs!

Local artist and dog owner Josse Davis shares some fun stories and demonstrates how to draw different types of 4-legged friends. Come along and be inspired to make up your own dog-themed tale (or tail)!    Ages 4 – 11

Stories and identifying birds and their habitats

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Learn all about the many different types of birds that live and visit our local habitats: beaches, riverbanks, the Downs and even your own back garden. Bird expert Simon will give you tips, ideas and an identification sheet to help you become an expert birdwatcher. There may even be a bird story too!   Ages 4-11

The Victorians in Arundel

1 p.m. – 2 p.m.

Historian and expert on all things Victorian, Nicholas Travers reads from his book ‘Victorian Britain Day by Day’ and talks about Arundel in the Victorian era. Did you know that Queen Victoria visited and stayed a short walk away from Arundel Museum?      Suitable for aged 13+ and adults.

(Tickets for this event are £5, with a chance to buy the book for £15).

The Wyvern Dragon that crashed into Arundel Castle

2:30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m.

Do you know your mythical creatures? Do you know the difference between a wyvern and a dragon?! Arundel Castle guide, Vicky, will read The Wyvern of Arundel Castle by Ray Lear and Kathy Creamer so you can find out! Colour in your own castle and maybe even make up your own mythical creature!                                                                                                                                                               Ages 6 – 11

Tickets are £2.50 each for the dogs, birds, or Wyvern sessions, £5 for all three.
