Civil War Lecture Series

This October we are delighted to be welcoming local historian, Chris Hare, to uncover the history of the Civil War in Sussex.

There will be four talks, starting on Wednesday 2nd October, and each Wednesday until Wednesday 23rd October.

The first talk will look at the build up to the Civil War, there were lots of reasons which caused this War to begin. The second talk will cover the first half of the Civil War, the third talk will look at the second half and finally in the fourth talk we will look at the aftermath of the Civil War.

Tickets for all four talks are £20, if you want to book individually, it is £6 each. To book, email office@arundelmuseum.org or pop in to the Museum. Each talk will start at 6.30pm.

This will be a very interesting series and enthuse the audience for the events planned in November onwards. The Songs from the Civil War Era concert on Wednesday 6th November and finally, The Great Rebellion: Civil War in Arundel, Sussex. This will be the exhibition running from mid November 2024 to February 2025.
